Natural and novel modulators of hemostasis: Dirt and RNA-gene therapy
Christian earned his PhD in Chemistry at the University of Chicago with Rustem Ismagilov and his postdoctoral fellowship at MIT with Robert Langer and Daniel Anderson. His lab at the University of British Columbia (UBC) utilizes biochemical engineering to solve problems related to hemostasis and thrombosis. His accolades include the Sir Major Banting Award from the True Patriot Love Foundation, a Fellow at the Canadian Institute for Military and Veteran Health Research, and a CIHR Foundation Grant. He is the CSO and founder of CoMotion Drug Delivery Systems, Inc., a UBC-based startup developing hemostatic agents for combat and surgical hemorrhage.
