TFPI Inhibition of FV Procoagulant Activity: Biochemistry and Effects on Cerebral Vascular Development

Dr. Mast is a Senior Investigator at the Blood Research Institute of BloodCenter of Wisconsin where he holds the Walter A. Schroeder Endowed Chair for Blood Research. He received a BS in biochemistry at the University of Illinois and MD and PhD degrees from Duke University. He performed residency training in Laboratory Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis. He maintains basic science and clinical research programs. His basic research investigates TFPI and the physiology of blood coagulation. His clinical research investigates iron metabolism and iron deficiency anemia.
